If for any reason you don't love your new purchase and wish to return your item, please refer to the slip enclosed with your order and email our returns email address within 14 days after the date of delivery (or if opting for store collection within 14 days of placing the order) we are happy to EXCHANGE your item or issue a CREDIT NOTE.
If we have shipped your item for free then we reserve the right to deduct the shipping costs we have incurred from your credit note/exchange amount.
Please note Theodore Couture DO NOT issue refunds or cancel orders.
SALE ITEMS AND PAYMENT PLANS ARE EXCLUDED FROM OUR RETURNS POLICY AND ARE FINAL SALES.
IMPORTANT- SOCKS, SWIMSUITS, BIKINIS, VESTS, HAIR ACCESSORIES AND UNDERWEAR ARE EXCLUDED FROM OUR RETURNS POLICY AND ARE UNABLE TO BE RETURNED/EXCHANGED FOR HYGIENE REASONS.
When returning your item remember to enclose your name, address and email address as failure to do so may result in the item not being accepted as a return. Where applicable, Items must be returned in the original packaging and in a resaleable conditon with all tags attached, if the tags are not present, the item will not be accepted.
The cost of any return will be the responsibility of the customer and we recommend you use a secure method such as recorded delivery as we are not responsible for items that are not received. Once the item is received back we aim to process within 3 working days.
The cost to ship any exchanged items will be the customers responsibility.
Please note that any sale items or items purchased via our payment plan policy are excluded from this policy and therefore NOT ELIGIBLE for a return. Items ordered for store collection which are not collected still fall within the terms of our returns policy.
Placing your order confirms acceptance of these terms.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Faulty or Defective Items
If you believe you have received an item that is defective or faulty please contact us by email to tcqueries@outlook.com including your order number, date of purchase and photos of the issue. PLEASE READ the below information relating to wear and tear/ accidental damage, any item that is subject to wear and tear or accidental damage will NOT BE DEEMED AS FAULTY. If an item is returned to us for an issue that is considered to be wear it tear or accidental damage we will contact you to arrange for it to be collected or returned to you (at your cost).
Faulty items may need to be sent back to the supplier for their review and decision, this process can take up to 6 weeks and in some cases longer depending upon the location of the supplier. Unfortunately these timescales are out of our control.
If the item is deemed faulty, the item will be firstly if possible repaired or replaced for the same product in the same size and colour, if we cannot replace the exact item we may offer you an exchange for an alternative colour or style.
Wear and Tear/ Accidental Damage
Accidental damage including but not limited to tears, rips, snags, scuffs, scratches, buttons falling off or pulls in goods after they have been worn are considered to be general wear and tear.
Each of our items has its own individual care label with laundering instructions, these are tried and tested by the manufacturer during the manufacturing process. When the instructions are correctly followed they do not cause shrinking, stretching or colour run.
Laundering issues are caused by washing at a higher temperature than recommended, from tumble drying, or using fabric conditioner/ softener.
Piling and bobbling occurs as a natural occurrence of the fabric and is considered to be wear and tear.
While we appreciate it can be frustrating when an item is damaged accidentally however we can not be held responsible for any accidental damage incurred or wear and tear.
